Mahindra Mojo 300 launch this year, plus 3 more products
Mahindra Two Wheelers have plans for launch of four new products during this year while strategies also include increase in export market count from 11 to 15 by end 2014. With four new products to include a scooter, bike and variants of existing products, the company also expects to see exports increase three fold over the period of next six months.
Mahindra Two Wheeler has a total of 1,500 outlets across India up from 600 last year. The company is actively testing Mahindra Mojo 300 cc motorcycle along with a new 110cc automatic scooter which has been codenamed G101 as on date.
Both these two new products could launch ahead of the festive season while variants of existing products are also in the pipeline. Mahindra Two Wheeler also announced a product in the 100-110 cc commuter category while a disc brake variant of Centuro will be part of these exciting new launches.
Mahindra Two Wheelers has noted remarkable performance where domestic sales are concerned in June 2014. During the past month, the company witnessed an 83% rise in sales to 15,463 units from 7,849 units sold in the same month in the previous year.
The companyâ€™s flagship model Centuro posted outstanding results and gained customer confidences. Apart from this, Mahindra has scuttled reports of them discontinuing their entry level bike Pantero and also confirmed continuing exports of Arrow.
Enhanced export markets will include Columbia and Nigeria and markets adjoining these two countries as the company take total export markets up from a current 11 to 15 by the end of this year.
