Mahindra to reveal new motorcycles in the first week of 2013

New range of motorbikes are in the offing from Mahindra Two Wheelers, which will make their entry into the Indian auto industry in the first week of January 2013. The first of the new range of motorcycles from Mahindra Two Wheelers is most likely the Pantero 110. It  will be a commuter motorcycle which will be a re-engined Stallio 110, that was pulled off shelves due to faulty gearbox design. Pantero 110 will be an enhanced gearbox along with a host of features.

Mahindra Pantero will possess a 110 cc four stroke engine and will compete with the likes of Honda Dream Yuga 110, Hero Passion X-Pro, TVS Star City and Suzuki Hayate 110. Pricing needs to be competitive as the vehicle gets ready for launch. Mojo 300 sports motorcycle is also set for 2013 launch.

At the Delhi Auto Show 2012 last year, Mojo 300 was seen with a sporty design and high performance features. Powered by a 292 cc single cylinder four stroke engine with fuel injection, Mojo 300 is expected to compete with Hyosung 250, Honda 250, Ninja 250. It possesses a 4 valve DOHC head and six speed manual gearbox. The engine will have power output of around 28 PS. This one too is expected to be launched this year.
