Mahindra Scorpio facelift spied sporting D shaped LED tail lights


Mahindra Scorpio facelift was caught testing yet again, this time with glowing D shaped LED tail lights. The new revamped version of Scorpio SUV is repeatedly getting spotted with TN and MH registration plates, each time revealing little more details. Mahindra is expected to launch this new Scorpio later this year.

New headlamp assembly, front grille and fresh bumper designed taking a sneak peak at XUV500’s. Side body panels and rear fascia are not expected to undergo significant redrawing.

Mahindra-Scorpio-2014-Facelift-Spy-Shot-02Cabin of new Scorpio will indeed lay hold of XUV500’s parts like multifunctional steering wheel and central console multimedia screen.The Scorpio facelift will also welcome trendy features like In-Car Entertainment (ICE) system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX-In mode of music input and air-conditioning with automatic climate control.

Gearbox with either engine will sport 5 speed transmission as usual. However, an additional 6 speed automatic transmission is expected to include in the facelift version.

    what does the D mean, is mahindra trying to send across a message? or is it just for the sake of styling? at a time when car manufacturers are giving a certain kind symbol in their LEDs (like the S class has S, E class has E, and C class has C), why is Mahindra showing a D?
