Mahindra Scorpio facelift spied on test: Launch expected by late 2014
Mahindra & Mahindra is in the process of bringing in a Scorpio facelift which might be launched by the end of 2014. Seen recently on test near Bangalore, the prototype codenamed W105 was camouflaged, but it could be deciphered that it bears a redesigned front end and some changes at the rear.
Engine lineup will also remain the same, continuing with the same 2.2 liter mHawk engine offering 120 bhp power and mated to a five speed manual gearbox. A 2.5 liter m2DiCR engine offering 75 bhp is also on offer though the Scorpio facelift will be minus any automatic transmission. Sales of current model of Mahindra Scorpio still attracts its fair share of attention with sales standing at around 4000 units per month.
