Mahindra Scorpio facelift spy shots reveal new alloy design
Spy shots of 2014 Mahindra Scorpio facelift have emerged which reveal the new alloy design. Expected to launch well in time for the festive season in India the Mahindra Scorpio takes on an updated image prior to an all new model to be launched by 2016.
Mahindra Scorpio facelift has been spotted which indicate a ready-to-go prototype. Scorpio facelift gets some new exteriors and a refreshed interior but continues to be powered by the same engine seen on board its earlier counterpart. This engine is a 2.2 liter four cylinder diesel engine capable of 120 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 290 Nm torque between 1,800-2,800 rpm, mated to a 5 speed manual or 6 speed automatic.
Apart from the new alloy design, exterior updates on board Mahindra Scorpio facelift includes a complete redesign while retaining the same silhouette. Interior changes see the use of better quality material and enhanced equipment thus ensuring that the Scorpio facelift is better value for money. A new instrument cluster, air conditioning vents in a brand new rectangular design, large multi media screen and state of the art air conditioning knobs and gear lever knobs are also going to be part of the facelift.
