MapmyIndia has announced the offering of GPS navigation systems powered by its maps which are now available on all of India’s top selling models. Customers desirous of availing these facilities can purchase the MapmyIndia GPS systems and update maps to version 7.1 in existing systems by visiting the MapmyIndia online store www.mapmyindia.com/store.

This facility is available on models such as Honda City, Tata Manza, M&M XUV500 and the new Rexton, Ford Endeavour, BMW 3, 5 and 7 Series, Jaguar Land Rover, Renault Scala, Freelander 2 and Fiat Linea. As per official statements by MapmyIndia these maps cover 7.1 million places of interest, 1.9 million road kilometers, 600,000 towns and villages besides 4751 cities with street details 39 cities with house details and 36 cities with 3D city models.

The maps also offering information of navigation, driver’s assistance features such as extended lane guidance and junction information while it also discloses live traffic updates, city guides, sign posts and regional maps. MapmyIndia has also collaborated with leading auto makers in India to offer GPS navigation facilities.
