Former World Rally Champion Markku Alen took the Ferrari FF to Arjeplog track in Sweden where temperatures hovered around – 15 to -30° Celsius. Alen who took to the wheels also brought his film crew along to photograph this challenge while he raced across forest tracks completely covered with snow. Ferrari.com captured the entire event which was also a special and exciting prospect for him.
The Arjeplog track, in Northern Sweden is about an hour's drive south of the Arctic Circle and is one of the most challenging surfaces for Ferrari FF. Ferrari FF has a 4 RM four wheel drive system that was highly commended by Alen who is an ice track specialist having been winner of the World Rally Championship in 1978.
Alen found the Ferrari FF traction exceptionally good and this was entirely due to good weight distribution and the car's mechanical set up wherein Ferrari once again proved to be safe, stable and high in performance with Alen enjoying his drive to the fullest.
