Maruti Suzuki Ciaz spied on test, interiors revealed
Maruti Suzuki gears up for launch of the new Ciaz sedan which is expected to take place sometime in August. To be priced between INR 7-10 lakhs, new Maruti Ciaz was recently spotted on test, revealing its interiors. The new Ciaz sedan will take the place of SX4 on company’s portfolio.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, predicted to be the most stretched out and most deluxe sedan in its class, has been spotted on test where interiors have been noted in a striking colour combination of black and beige. Leather upholstered seats, adjustable driver side seat and standard arm rests form part of the Ciaz internal makeup. Borrowing some parts from both Ertiga and DZire, the Ciaz will see a host of aluminium and chrome accents in its interiors, thus adding to its first-class appeal.
Ciaz receives start/stop button and multi function 3 spoke steering wheel while leg room at the rear is more enhanced due to the special shaping of front seats in a concave pattern. Rear passengers will receive added comforts due to the existence of rear air conditioning vents with individual controls.
Infotainment options and safety features abound on board the soon to be launched Ciaz. These will include a 5” touch screen with Bluetooth, USB, AUX connectivity besides auto dimmer rear view mirrors and automatic climate control along with dual front airbags, ABS and EBD with Brake Assist.
Maruti Ciaz will be seen with engine options to include 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel engine and 1.6 liter petrol engine both mated to either 5 speed manual or CVT while 1.4 liter K Series engine seen on board the Ertiga SUV could also make its way into the Ciaz.
