Maruti Ertiga rival, Honda Mobilio MPV explained in a new video
PT Honda Prospect Motors of Jakarta, Indonesia have released a new video showing various aspects and features of the new Honda Mobilio MPV. Honda Mobilio was launched in Indonesia last week, while first 160 customers were handed over keys at an event held on Saturday. Honda India will showcase Mobilio at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, while it will be launched by mid 2014, to compete with Maruti Ertiga and Chevrolet Enjoy.
The released video draws attention to design, features and onboard technological features while exteriors and interiors are carefully highlighted through frame by frame depictions. Noted on board the new Honda Mobilio is its tilt steering wheel, efficient music system with CD, AUX and USB ports besides comfort features such as double blower air conditioning, tumble seat in second row and eco-meter. Safety features on the new Honda Mobilio are plentiful and include dual SRS airbags, ABS and EBD. Other updates include electronic power steering while the MPV has a turning radius of 5.2m.
In Indonoesia, Mobilio is offered with a 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine mated to a CVT gearbox. For India it is expected to be seen with a 1.5 liter EarthDreams diesel engine mated to a 6 speed manual transmission and a 1.5l iVTEC with Manual 5 speed and CVT option. This is the same engine that does duty on board the New Honda City. In Indonesia, Honda Mobilio is offered in three variants S, E and E-Prestige and come in with a price tag of 159,500 rupiah (8.19 lakh rupees).
