Maruti Suzuki expects 6% growth in FY13
Apart from the financial situation bringing any improvement to the car industry, auto manufacturers think that sales will get a boot only after implementation of an efficient Budget and on the outcome of the election. In other news, though diesel prices have been hiked the company is hopeful that there will not be any hikes in the near term. Having resolved its wage allotment Maruti will focus on capitalizing on sales so as to improve growth and muster profits in the near future.
Maruti Suzuki has registered 7.9% sales decline in February 2013 having sold 109,567 vehicles as compared to 118,949 cars sold in February 2012. Domestic sales of MSI passenger cars reported 9% sales decline with 97,955 units sold as compared to 107,653 units sold in February 2012. MSI exports for the month reported 2.8% sales increase with 11,612 units sold as compared to 11,296 units shipped in February, 2012.
