Maruti Suzuki SX4 spied again: Launch details yet to be revealed
India’s largest selling auto maker is getting set to bring in their revised SX4 model. SX4 sedan was earlier caught on test in Pune and Gujarat. Now the sedan is caught while it was parked at a Maruti Suzuki dealership.
The current version of SX4 sedan has been in the market for over five years. A makeover is long overdue, so as to compete with other rivals such as Volkswagen Vento and Hyundai Verna.
The facelifted model was recently spotted at a company service center in Bangalore though it has been seen earlier in various stages of testing in Pune and Gujarat. This revised model was seen with a new front fascia, new front grille with horizontal slats as against the earlier honeycomb design. Maruti Suzuki India Limited will be launching the new SX4 in petrol, CNG and diesel variant. While additional chrome updates will also be seen in its interior and exterior design.
Interiors will receive fresh upholstery in shades of black and beige while dashboard will be finished in all black. Where engine updates are concerned, the 2013 SX4 will possess three engine options. The first will be a 1.6 liter petrol engine, 1.6 liter petrol and CNG option and a 1.3 liter turbo diesel engine.
