McLaren P1 projects itself as being the best driver car both on road and on track. To live upto these standards, special attention is paid to performance and handling, besides vehicle exterior design and interior comforts. Weight saving is of optimum benefit and hence the extensive use of carbon fiber. Driver’s comforts are heavily concentrated on so that drivers remain focused.

Interiors are comfortable with a cockpit like feel and comes with a glass canopy and an extended windscreen. McLaren P1 is fitted with other driver comforts which include full climate control, satellite navigation, bespoke sound system. The two seater cabin McLaren P1 is made of the lightest of materials and this is used in the dashboard, floor, doors and rockers while the central control unit consists of a single piece shaped in such a way that it adds to further weight reduction. Seat backs are adjustable to 28 degrees from vertical and can be further adjusted to 32 degrees for better racing benefits which also gives more room for helmet. McLaren P1 is to be on display at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013 where more details will be revealed.
