Melanie Sykes and her new Abarth 500C
Melanie Sykes, English television presenter, radio host and model, best known for co-hosting ‘Today with Des and Mel’ is the proud owner of a brilliant red Abarth 500C convertible.
Melanie Sykes had previously owned a Fiat 500C but was on the lookout for a car with added performance that only an Abarth 500 with 140 bhp was capable of offering. The TV star has snapped herself with the car and posted it on Twitter to show her excitement.
The Abarth 500C comes in with quality engineering and a fold away glass rear window and central high mounted stop light. Abarth 500C possesses a 1.4 litre turbocharged engine giving it a top speed of 205 kmph and acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.1 seconds. The 500C is Euro VI compliant and costs £16,055 for the manual version and £17,355 for Competizione gearbox. It possesses Abarth five speed automated manual transmission and drivers are able to change gears via paddles situated behind steering wheel.
Sykes received delivery of her new Officina Red Abarth 500C from Motor Village Marylebone, a London based Abarth dealer and is really excited with her purchase. 43-year-old Melanie Sykes has shown her excitement with her new 500C and taken to Twitter to show off her new car with a snap of her Abarth 500C with a message “Cheeky little Abarth 500c #beepbeep it be mine X”. In fact, she updated her account with Twitter updates at least 4 times on March 14th.
