New Mercedes-Benz A-Class is 2013 AM New Car of the Year

Newly launched Mercedes Benz A-class was adjudged as ‘AM New Car of the Year’ during the AM award ceremony. Dynamism, style and technology are quality features of the A-class which has enabled it to outdo its rivals. An all- round performer, the A-class has the appeal that Mercedes Benz customers look for.

Prior to its market introduction, the car has already been pre-ordered by 90,000 customers. The sporty city car/hatchback model available in three and five door version is priced from £18,970 to £28,800. Direct injection and turbocharging are new features of the petrol and diesel engines available with this model. These new engines provide the A- Class with a mileage of 74.3 mpg and emission rate of 98 g/km.

Mercedes Benz A-Class also boasts of technologies which greatly reduce probability of accidents by providing visual and audio based warning to alert the driver and passengers about impending dangers.
