Mercedes Benz A Class Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2012 India launch in 2013

Over 100,000 automobile enthusiasts from across 52 countries selected the Mercedes Benz A Class as their most preferred vehicle.  This has resulted in the A Class being declared as “The Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2012”. Voting was conducted on the seven mini websites in a variety of language options by Eurosport.

Mercedes Benz received this award at the International Automobile Festival held in Paris on the 29th January 2013. The award ceremony was held at the Hotel des Invalides while Marc Langenbrinck, Director General of Mercedes Benz Cars received the award. The A Class was voted as a winner against Mazda 6, Renault Clio and BMW Series 3 Touring. The Mercedes Benz A Class hatchback is scheduled to be launched in Indian markets in May 2013 where it will compete with the BMW X1 and Audi A3.

It has proved its success in European markets with over 100,000 units sold.  This is not the first time that the Mercedes Benz has received accolades.  At the 2012 Auto Bild Design Awards, the A Class was named “Germany’s Most Beautiful Car”. Mercedes-Benz India will launch the G63 AMG on 19th February, 2013.
