Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG will make its official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next year, but the first pictures of new Mercedes Benz A45 AMG, which is currently under development, have been revealed online. After its debut in March 2013, Mercedes Benz will launch the car in Europe and later on in other car markets around the world.

The new A45 AMG will be powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder direct injected turbocharged engine offering 349 hp at 6000 rpm and 400 Nm of maximum torque with power sent to all four wheels through a 7 speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7 speed dual clutch sports transmission.

Mercedes Benz A45 AMG will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 kmph) in 5.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph (248 kmph) which will be further accentuated to 168 mph (270 kmph) when equipped with an optional performance package.

2013 A45 will possess an aero kit similar to that seen on AMG Sport styling package offered on a hatchback model but will have additions of 18” multispoke alloy wheels, a new honeycomb grill and trapezoidal tailpipes. A price tag of approximately €36,000 (Rs 24.86 lakhs) is what will be seen on the Mercedes Benz A45 AMG, while an optional performance package will be an extra €3,00.
