The new transmission has three modes – Economy, where transmission shifts automatically keeping revolution to the minimum thereby resulting in economical fuel consumption, Sport – is automatic but shift and response times are set to offer maximum performance while manual transmission enables the driver to shift gears by paddle shifters situated behind steering wheel resulting in better response time.
There are also four trim packages on offer – Chrome, Sport, Exclusive and Night. The new B Class with petrol engine is more efficient and agile besides being spacious and comfortable making it a sure shot winner from the word GO. Height is reduced and seats are in a more upright position projecting the vehicle as a compact sports model. Customers will benefit from low fuel consumption, lower CO2 emissions and be assured of enhanced driving pleasure and the best of safety features yet to be seen in its class. The all new Mercedes Benz B Class sports tourer has been introduced in India, and sits pretty in a number of their dealerships. The vehicles avilable for viewing currently are not the ones that will be launched in India this year but are strictly left hand dive variants.
