Mercedes-Benz India reports 23% sales growth for Q2 2014
Mid way through 2014, Mercedes-Benz India reports healthy Q1 and Q2 sales, totaling 25% growth for the year thus far. For sustainable growth, manufacturing capacity and number of dealerships is being increased.
Mercedes-Benz’s production facility expansion to 20,000 units is in its final stages. As the automaker transforms into the largest luxury car manufacturer here, it extends an enriching after-sales experience while strengthening network presence with 64 outlets in 36 cities.
New outlets were inaugurated in Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, Bhopal, Chandigarh and Mohali. 3 new AMG Performance Centres came into being in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. 8 new outlets are planned through Q3 and Q4. Alongside, launches are scheduled for the remainder of 2014, including GLA-Class. In all Mercedes- Benz is geared up for another year of strong growth.
