Mercedes-Benz Museum special exhibition Mille Miglia – Passion and Rivalry scheduled for October 10 to January 6 2013

“Mille Miglia – Passion and Rivalry” got off to a flying start at the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart on October 10th 2012. This special 1000 mile road race will also see a number of Mercedes Benz racing sports cars competing with other like minded vehicles of other Italian manufacturers in what is looked upon as the toughest road race of all.

There will be a total of nine vehicles in the events which will compete in these events and be part of the exhibition which has been organized together with Museo Mille Miglia in Brescia and be part of the 1000 mile race. Besides the Mercedes Benz SSK, 300 SL and 300 SLR, the vehicle showcase will also include legendary vehicles from other top auto manufacturers such as Alfa Romea, Ferrari and Lancia.

Mille Miglia open road race has been started ever since 1927. It is a competitive car race on the road for a total of 1000 miles going nonstop from Brescia to Rome and then heading back to Brescia once again.
