2014 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 revealed (Video)

The highlight of the C63 AMG Edition 507 is its 6.3 liter V8 engine has been tuned to generate 500 hp of power and 610 Nm of torque, 50 hp more, as compared to the stock C63 AMG model, and 10 hp & 10 Nm less as compared to the Black Series C63 AMG. Hardware components like new pistons, connecting rods, engine management system and lighter crankshaft refines the vehicle and shows the maturity when it achieves 0-100 kmph within a short span of 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is electronically regulated to 280 kmph (174 mph).

The exteriors boast of new design features that have been adopted from the C63 AMG Coupe Black Series. Main highlight is the hood which has two distinctive opening in the surface to allow for dissipation of engine heat. Light 19” forged alloy wheels are integrated within this car. Apart from this a spoiler lip on the trunk, accents on radiator and DRL’s and exterior mirror housings are all done using high gloss black paint. Compound brake discs are used for this car which is brought to a stop with 6 pistons for the front and 4 pistons for the rear. Interiors are available in three varied designer options like black designo leather/DINAMICA, porcelain designo leather/DINAMICA and black designo leather.

Transmission is taken care by 7-Speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT. Optional features too are available based on needs of customers. To be launched in summer of 2013, prices of this new model will be revealed at a later date.
