Mercedes G 63 AMG Crazy Colour Edition launched in India at Rs 2.17 crores

Ditching the standard colours of silver, white and black, Mercedes Benz India presents the Mercedes G 63 AMG Crazy Colour Edition in Solar Beam, Sunset Beam, and Alien Green. With these striking body colours, contrasting Obsidian Black finish will be seen on door handles, bumpers, ORVMs, wheel arches and roof while interiors will be done up in Designo Nappa leather.

Slated to be a collector’s item and priced at INR 2.17 crores (ex-showroom, New Delhi), there will only be a limited number of this special edition allotted for India. A top end Harmon Kardon surround system will be an option on board the Mercedes G 63 AMG Crazy Colour Edition. The Colour Crazy Edition will receive V8 bi-turbo offering 536 bhp power at 5,500 rpm and 760 Nm torque at 2,000-5,000rpm mated to a 7 speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.

Mercedes G 63 AMG Crazy Colour Edition measures 4,763mm in length, 1,855mm in width and 1,938mm in height with boot capacity of 480 liters and kerb weight of 2,550 kgs. This limited edition variant celebrates the dominant existence of the iconic G Class for the past 35 years.

This Crazy Colour Edition along with Mercedes Benz new S Class Coupe S500 and S 63 AMG are a part of the company’s ’15 in 15’ policy with 15 new model launches planned during the year. Mercedes Benz has already launched six new models to date which include S 600 Guard, CLA-Class, C 220 CDI, B-Class, E-Class Cabriolet and CLS 250 CDI.
