MINI sets new Guinness world record delivering wish lists to Santa Claus

In keeping with the upcoming festive season, MINI has set a new world record of taking 75,954 wish-lists to personally deliver to Santa Claus. A fleet of 8 MINIs travelled a distance of 3500 kms to deliver the longest wish list measuring 3798.5 meters right into the hands of Santa Clause at the Santa Clause Post Office in Rovaniemi.

This wish list was put together by children and adults, from 16 countries across the globe and included countries of Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Russia, United States of America and Singapore.

A notable fact was though the wish list was long and winding; it was put together by joining wishes end to end using a special paper causing minimum impact on the environment. These 8 MINIs headed for the Arctic Circle setting out from the company headquarters in Munich and travelling though cities like Copenhagen and Stockholm from where they continued collecting and adding to the wish list. For more information, scroll down.
