Mitsubishi Mirage Facelift custom livery at 2016 Bangkok Motor Show (LIVE)

Mitsubishi Mirage facelift with new custom livery has been showcased at the ongoing 37th Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand. Also known as Space Star in Europe, the Mirage facelift hatchback was also showcased at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show earlier this month.

Exteriors of the new Mirage facelift features a larger and more attractive front grille which is bordered with chrome strip. It also gets redesigned headlamp cluster with projector lamps and angular LED DRLs. Lower bumper is new and gets thick chrome strip with Y-shaped ends, which encases the fog lights.
On the side, there are new alloy wheels while the rear gets a new bumper and new taillamp cluster. Overall, the design update has made the new Mirage more aerodynamic than before as drag coefficient has reduced by 0.27 cd. Two new body colours are also on offer. These are Sunrise Orange and Wine Red.

On the inside, Mitsubishi Mirage facelift gets an all-black dashboard with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, piano black center console, black fabric seats, piano black inserts on the door handle, and 300 Watt Rockford-Fosgate music system.
In Thailand, Mitsubishi Mirage facelift is powered by the same 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol engine which was also powering the old Mirage. This engine now delivers 80 PS power and 100 Nm torque, thanks to the addition of roller-type camshaft. Braking has been improved thanks to 251 mm disc brakes in the front and larger drum brakes at the rear.

A total of 5 variants are on offer – GL MT, GLX MT, GLX CVT, GLS CVT, and GLS LTD. Price ranges from 383,000 Baht (INR 7.25 lakh) to 567,000 Baht (INR 10.73 lakh).
