2-Wheelers and 4-Wheelers of the MMSC-FMSCI National Racing Championship at BIC

Motorsports fans across India are in for a weekend of high action as the biggest national racing championships are taking place at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida this weekend.

MMSC-FMSCI National Racing ChampionshipIndian manufacturers MRF and TVS, along with international giants which include Toyota, Yamaha and Honda have all addressed the media and paid emphasis to the urgent need to develop motorsports in the country. This weekend is the first step being taken in this direction as two and four wheelers battle it out at the MMSC-FMSCI National Racing Championship.

Being held on 14th and 15th September 2013, the championships will see many firsts in the form of a two and four wheeler event being held for the first time along with a motorcycle race being held at BIC for the first time since it was inaugurated in 2011. MRF Racing will also reveal their MRF 1600 category on BIC for the second time after being seen at Formula One Indian GP in 2011.

The weekend activities will include four wheeler events MRF 1600 category, Toyota EMR Trophy and the Indian Touring Cars and Indian Junior Touring Cars Championship while two wheeler events will include TVS Apache RTR-180 category, Yamaha Y2F R15 One Make Championship, Honda CBR 250 One Make Championship and NRC Experts, Group C upto 165cc.
