Mini One First will be the least powerful of the three door hatchbacks sold since 1970s. It will be made available from July this year and powered by a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder turbocharged, direct injection petrol engine. This engine will be capable of 75 PS power and 150 Nm peak torque while it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 12.8 seconds. The engine is fuel efficient and capable of CO2 emissions between 117 and 122 gms/km.
Mini One First will also be offered with a 1.4 liter petrol engine with prices starting from £12,460 (Rs 13 lakhs). Buyers will also be able to spruce up the Mini First with a host of additions ranging from £390 to £855 and add items which will include air conditioning, alloys wheels, three-spoke leather steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity and fog lights in the front. Standard equipment includes stability control, traction control and six air bags besides an alarm and immobilizer.
Mini is also offering Mini TLC package on board the Mini One First which for £185 offers service and maintenance for a period of 5 years.
