Tata Nano Twist Active without AMT, with openable boot spied in new Black paint
Tata Nano Twist Active spied near Aravenu village in Nilgiris District sports new bumper and body colour. It was accompanied by a Tata Indica Vista with officials overseeing test procedures. Thanks to ardent RushLane reader Sathvik.
Highlight of this test mule is black colour body paint, which hasn’t been on offer ever since Tata launched Nano. It is highly likely that Tata will launch Nano Twist Active in black or dark shade of grey as earlier spy shot of Nano Active featured silver coloured door handles and wing mirror caps, which would go well with the darker shades.
Sathvik mentioned that he managed to peep into the parked Nano and found regular gear lever and not an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) assembly. Rest of interiors, beige dashboard, glovebox, steering and the like were described to be smiler to those in outgoing Nano Twist model.
Much like front bumper of orange coloured sporty looking Nano test mule spied earlier, black Nano in new spy shots also wears new style front bumper with rectangular air dam. Since we know this Nano does not sport AMT, in all possibility, Tata may offer such a bumper for non AMT variant of Tata Nano Twist Active and the smiley like front bumper with fog lamps for AMT version. Both models will have openable boot / rear hatch door for better access to boot space.
