Bentley SUV spied with a ‘NewBentley’ sticker
Teaser images of the upcoming Bentley SUV were shared a few weeks back. Now, the car has surfaced once again, but this time in real. Designed by Bentley’s design director Luc Donckerwolke, the new Bentley SUV showed itself in a camouflaged state.
Designed to take luxury to a new level, the upcoming Bentley SUV will change the entire image of an SUV as the company promises features par excellence and performance superlative. New Bentley SUV will be produced from the company’s Crewe plant.
Bentley showcased the EXP 9F SUV concept at Geneva Motor Show in 2012. But that design was scrapped, and a new modified design was shown, rather teased in March this year.
Bentley SUV is expected to be launched with a Bentley W12 engine while a plug-in hybrid diesel engine is also expected for this 4×4. Pricing range is expected to be around £150,000 (INR 149,51,399) going all the way upto £200,000 (INR 199,30,570) for the top end model.
The yet to be named Bentley SUV was recently spotted hidden under zebra skin camouflage. It will be of the about the the same length as the current generation Range Rover, though it will sit on a longer wheelbase. As compared to the earlier concept, the current model on test could be seen with new vertical headlight pattern, a big front grille and creased bonnet. Despite its massive price tag, the company is targeting sales of 3,500 units per year once the SUV is successfully launched.
