Sachin Tendulkar presents new BMW 3 Series to Saina Nehwal

Encouragement helps people do well and in order to make sure that Saina Nehwal, the star badminton player keeps up her good performance, Sachin Tendulkar handed over keys of a new black BMW 3 Series sedan during a felicitation function held recently. The master batsman also said that there was still more of Saina Nehwal that needs to be seen by the world. He said that Saina has a lot of ability to reach greater heights.

Sachin Tendulkar specially flew down to Hyderabad for the felicitation function held for the Olympic medal winner. During this function, not only did Saina get to meet her life long idol, but also there were cars for coach P. Gopichand and budding badminton player PV Sindhu as well.

P Gopichand was handed the keys of a Hyundai Elantra while badminton player PV Sindhu was gifted a Swift Dzire. These cars were sponsored by V Chamundeshwarnath who is the vice president of Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association as also president of Hyderabad Badminton Association.

Some people were not happy with this felicitation as they thought fellow Indian bronze medalist, Mary Kom was more deserving. They vented their anger over social media platforms by sharing the image below. In order to clear the air, these cars were sponsored by Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association and not by Indian government, or BMW or Sachin Tendulkar.
