2014 Fiesta Facelift for which Ford is putting together a marketing portfolio and TVC, made its global debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and Indian debut at 2014 Auto Expo in February. The refreshed Fiesta receives a host of new features and it is aimed to do more for the company in terms of sales as against the present Fiesta of which the company has sold very few as compared to competition.
The refreshed Fiesta facelift receives a new headlight and tail light design, a new front grille and new alloy wheels. Other features include push button start, Ford SYNC technology with voice activated controls and automatic headlights. Storage space is at a premium with under seat storage facilities along with 60/40 folding rear seats.
To compete with Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Fiat Linea and VW Vento once launched, the new Fiesta facelift will be fitted with a 1.5liter TDCI diesel engine which has found mention on company website while a petrol engined option is yet to be confirmed. It will also feature a petrol engine, probably in the form of 1.5l, which is seen on the EcoSport.
