New Ford Troller T4 unveiled in Brazil
The Blue Oval’s Brazilian arm has disclosed a new SUV – Troller T4. Exclusive for Brazil, this massive SUV is designed locally and is capable of tackling the toughest of terrains. Troller is currently a subsidiary of Ford Brazil, which was first founded in 1995.
Devoid of any Ford badging, the new Troller is aimed at 4×4 buyers in the country. It is the first model developed ever since Ford overtook the company in 2007. It is based on the TR-X concept seen earlier at the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show.
Troller T4 is powered by a 3.2 liter diesel engine mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. It sports new LED tail lights and sits on 17” alloy wheels. The upcoming Troller T4 also receives adjustable cross bars and spoiler on rear cover with integrated brake light.
Still a pre production model, interiors have not yet been revealed but it could sport a new sky roof or two large glass panes to let light come streaming into its cabin while upholstery could come in a new design with use of high quality materials.
No pricing details of new Troller T4 have been revealed but one can gauge pricing based on the current Troller T4 which retails at 96,844 Brazilian Reals ($46,200, INR 27,35,502). The Troller was in the news some years ago, when it managed to clear the flooded streets like a BOSS. Watch the video below.
