New Honda City, CR-Z, Spada, Odyssey and more at Bangkok Motor Show 2014

Developed under Advanced Cool Stunner concept is the new Honda City which has been officially launched by Honda Automobiles (Thailand) back in January. Striking in design and highly powerful in performance, the new City comes in with six variants and seven color options while starting price stands at 550,000 Baht.

honda_28_1 (1)Honda Thailand targets sales of 60,000 units per annum where the new Honda City is concerned. This is the fourth generation City which comes in with added features as compared to its three earlier counterparts. Interior space is at a premium while it is powered by a 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine compatible with E85 fuel. This engine produces 117 hp at 6000 rpm and 146 Nm torque at 4700 rpm.

Honda City is developed with continuous variable transmission under the Honda Earth Dreams Technology. Enhanced safety features, outstanding technology and highly fuel efficient are the highlights of the new Honda City. Safety features include ABS, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist and emergency stop signal. The new Honda City is equipped with a host of airbags in six varied locations besides i-side airbags, side curtain airbags and rear view camera which can be adjusted at three levels.

Honda City is being offered in S MT variant priced at 550,000 Baht, an S AT variant priced at 589,000 Baht, V variant priced at 649,000 Baht, the V+ variant priced at 689,000 Baht besides the SV and SV+ variant priced at 734,000 Baht and 749,000 Baht respectively. Exterior color options come in the form of Modern Steel Grey (Metallic), Carnelian Red (Pearl), Crystal Black (Pearl), Alabaster Silver (Metallic) and Taffeta White. There are also two new colors being offered on the new Honda City which include Brilliant Sporty Blue (Metallic) and Golden Brown (Metallic).

Apart from Honda City sedan, Accord, Accord, Brio, Modulo, Jazz, Civic, CR-Z, CR-V, Civic hybrid, Jazz hybrid, Modulo, Odessey and Spada are showcased at the 2014 Bangkok International Motor Show.
