New Maruti Ritz petrol hatchback launched at Rs. 5.15 lakhs

When Maruti decided to restyle the Ritz there were a number of factors that were considered and worked upon diligently. The new restyled Ritz boasts of 52 new features and will be priced at Rs. 5.15 lakh. The car will be available in four variants viz., New Ritz Petrol LXi, New Ritz petrol VX (without ABS), New Ritz Petrol VX (with ABS and New Ritz Petrol Zxi. Pricing for these variants starts from Rs. 5.15 lakh to Rs 6.24 lakh respectively.

Exterior changes for this model include new alloy wheel design, new front bumper, grille, restyle fog lamp housing, rear spoiler body side moulding and electrically adjustable rear view mirrors. The new variants will be available in three new colors namely breeze blue, mystique red and granite grey.

Dual front bags, improved rear seating as also new Audio system, day and night inside rear view mirror, steering mounted controls and MID system are the features of the interior of this vehicle. Under the hood, the new Ritz boasts of a 1.2 Liter, 4 Cylinder, K series petrol engine which is capable of producing 83 hp of power and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is coupled to a 5 –Speed manual transmission box for improved handling and stability.
