During the week six new models make their way into the domestic automobile markets. These include the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 petrol and CNG variants, Tata Motors Indigo Manza Club, Tata Safari Storme, M&M’s Ssangyong Rexton, new Ford Figo, and Honda Cars India new Brio with automatic transmission. Toyota Kirloskar, Nissan, Fiat and Tata Motors have also launched special editions to add to the excitement. Royal Enfield has introduced Thunderbird 500. Mercedes Benz introduced theor first small car for India, the MB B Class sports tourer, and Nissan bought the Evalia. Mahindra also introduced their smallest ever utility vehicle, the Mahindra Quanto.
Banking on sales to go up during the festive season, customers will be spoilt for choices and will have a hard time choosing between all these models. All the new entrants are highly fuel efficient and have been launched with exciting exterior features and interior comforts while prices too have been kept competitive.
