News release: Olympic Spirit is the Theme of New Nissan do Brasil Advertising Campaign
Nissan do Brasil (NBA) launched an ad campaign to reinforce its relationship with Rio de Janeiro, Olympic sports and to enhance the relationship of NBA with Brazilian athletes.
The ad campaign, featuring the 60-second spot, “Nissan | Investindo no Brasil e no sonho Olímpico,” mixes dream-like sequences with real-life situations to show the determination of a child in his pursuit to defeat professional “giant” runners.
In the narrative, the character makes it clear that he will face the opponents as equals and will win. Despite the obstacles, he never feels intimidated because he has fan support and knows that he, too, will become a giant.
Like Nissan, most Brazilian athletes have to overcome many difficulties to reach victory against giant competitors. NBA supports these athletes, and lives a common moment with them.
“Nissan believes in Brazil and Brazilian sport. That’s the reason we produced this compelling ad about overcoming obstacles. It is a special moment for athletes and we are proud to be part of it. This is another way for us to demonstrate that Nissan is committed to our country,” says Carlos Murilo Moreno, NBA Marketing director.
