Nissan Motor Company will take Nissan LEAF around Japan and provide people a first-hand opportunity to drive electric vehicle, as well as, make them understand their dream of a zero-emission society.
Many other NPOs along with Nissan are collaborating in this venture as the tour has been slated to start from 31st July, from the place where Nissan was founded, Kanagawa Prefecture. The tour will then move on to other municipalities with whom the Renault-Nissan Alliance has agreed to jointly promote zero-emission mobility, which are Saitama City, Miyazaki Prefecture, Kita-Kyushu City and the City of Yokohama.
The Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture, Mr. Shigefumi Matsuzawa will be invited by Nissan to highlight features of zero-emission society at their Nissan Global Headquarters in Yokohama in addition to all other workshops and test-drives that they will be conducting.
