Nissan eNV200 was showcased at the Detroit Motor Show which viewers will find similar to Nissan Leaf in a number of aspects. To begin with Nissan e-NV200 will have similar zero emission ion lithium batteries offering 207 lb/ft torque also seen in Nissan Leaf. Testing of the vehicle have begun though the company is not revealing details of range that e-NV200 will offer. E-NV200 will commence operations as a taxi like the gas powered NV200 which has also been chosen to operate as a taxi in New York from end of 2013.
On its exterior one can note similarities to Nissan NV200. On its hood is a large central charging port door, a bright blue Nissan badge with headlights with LED accents. Front windows are large and a pair of glass roof panels offers an airy and open look to the interiors. Painted Aqua Blue, Nissan e-NV200 concept interiors also show blue colored accents. Its engine components also correspond with Nissan Leaf and are fitted with zero emission engine with lithium ion batteries offering high fuel economy which is a crucial factor to be taken into account specially while it is being used as a commercial vehicle.
