After Tata Nano, Nissan India car range for sale online

Nissan India has announced an online facility which will make purchases even more convenient to buyers. The automaker has stated that buyers will be able to make online bookings via credit cards while cars will be delivered to customers from the nearest company dealership.


With online purchasing quickly becoming a trend, Japanese auto major Nissan Motor Co have announced that the company will offer online booking for all models through credit cards.  Prior to making decisions of purchase, buyers can view the entire model lineup online.  The company is offering this convenience to customers in alliance with car portals, so as to ensure timely delivery and efficient after sales service to buyers.  This will not only make the purchasing process easier but will also be quicker, more convenient and with least amount of inconvenience to customers.

Nissan products being offered in India include the mid-sized sedan Sunny, Nissan Evalia (MPV), compact hatchback Nissan ‘Micra’, newly launched compact premium SUV Nissan ‘Terrano’, luxury sedan Nissan ‘Teana’, SUV Nissan ‘X-Trail’ and the company’s exclusive sports car Nissan ‘370Z’.

Nitish Tipnis, Director – Marketing, Hover Automotive India (Nissan’s National Sales Company) said, “Today most car buyers go online before making a decision so using the internet is a logical extension of the purchase cycle. At Nissan, we are putting in place suitable payment gateways with the help of specific car portals to ensure timely delivery and service at the time of purchase. The objective is to simplify the purchase cycle and delight the customer by making the entire sales journey quicker and more efficient with no compromise on service.”

Mr. Tipnis adds, “The e-commerce consumer is the most evolved user online. They prioritise saving time through digital channels, so it’s important we evolve our purchase model to reflect and accommodate the change in buying patterns.
