The 2013 Nissan Micra was seen with revised tail lights and a new rear bumper, though side profiles do not indicate any changes in design.

Nissan is keeping all updates secret as on date which indicates that launch of the facelift model is imminent. Nissan is also testing a new Micra in India where it will be launched with a significant price reduction so as to compete with other entry level hatchbacks in the market.

Redesigned headlamps, new front grille and marked improvements on front bumper and hood are evident from the model on test. Rear end gets a sculpted bumper and new tail lamp graphics. Though interiors were not visible, it was announced at the Geneva Motor Show that the interiors of 2013 Nissan Micra will spell class and plushness. The facelifted Micra will continue with its 1.5 liter K9K diesel engine or a 1.2 liter petrol engine while it is being contemplated if Nissan will bring in a X-CVT Automatic.
