At Auto Shanghai 2013 last year, Nissan unveiled the Friend-ME concept, part of the global concept series, which also includes Resonance and the Sports Sedan Concept.
Together they form the roadmap to the next generation of Nissan design.
Next month, in Beijing, Nissan Design China (NDC) will reveal another glimpse at the future of motoring in China, with the new concept model.

Once again, large LED boomerang headlights and “V-Motion” movement – signature features of Resonance, Friend-ME and the Sport Sedan Concept – are evident, says Executive Design Director Mamoru Aoki (see video above).
Stay tuned for the world premiere at the Beijing show.
Auto China 2014 runs from April 20 (the show’s press day) to April 29 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. First there was the Nissan Resonance, with its boldly futuristic aerodynamic styling signaling the direction of upcoming Nissan mid-size crossovers. It made its world debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show. Then came the Nissan Friend-ME, showcased at Auto Shanghai 2013, with its category-busting energetic and provocative modern design. There was then a world debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit with the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept – applying real sports car performance standards and new design philosophies to a 4-door sedan.
