Nissan TeRRA SUV EV Concept to be unveiled at Paris Motor Show 2012
Nissan TeRRA is a rugged go-anywhere SUV while it is an equally competent electric vehicle which displays equal finesse both off road and while driving…
Nissan TerRRA will be a concept car with a hydrogen fuel cell stack unit that possesses power of 2.5 kW/l. Nissan is getting set to produce fuel cell electric engined vehicles, high in performance but with zero emission mobility. TeRRA will have door panels in wood trims and acrylic while till shoulder height there will be a metal frame designed to give its occupants a sense of security.
Its instrument cluster is well designed and will possess an electronic tablet that serves as an intelligent key. This enabled driver to put it in place when entering the vehicle and can take it with him on exit. Once in place this will display speed, entertainment features, communication devices and navigation information required.
Massive tyres, high beltline and thin windows are seen in this new Nissan SUV. The exteriors are given a muscular appearance while sharp corners, short overhangs and sculptured lamps add to its aggressive appeal. It is this same language that continues into its comfortable and inviting interiors. Nissan has assured that boot space will be large enough to hold outdoor equipment such as bikes and skis specially with the rear passenger seats folded down. However the company has also declared that this vehicle will not be mass produced till such time as hydrogen refilling stations are not well in place.
