Nissan Terrano SUV India launch scheduled for October 9
Nissan India is slated to launch its highly acclaimed Terrano SUV on 9th October 2013, just ahead of the festive season in the country. It is also the date when the company will be revealing price of the SUV which is expected to be higher than that of Renault Duster.
Safety and infotainment features on board the Terrano will include driver and passenger air bags, ABS, EBD, ORVMs which are electrically controlled and a 2 DIN CD player with Bluetooth, AUX and USB support. Interiors are seen with automatic climate controls, reverse parking sensors and leather seats and steering wheel. Terrano interiors such as door and dashboard are finished in wood thus giving it a more premium appeal.
The car will go on sale in five trim levels-XE, XL, XL Plus, XV and XV Premium. Booking process has already commenced with the company promising deliveries in time for the festive season in India. Nissan India has also said that the car will go on sale with a price of less than Rs 10 lakh. We did get a chance to drive the Terrano earlier this month in Udaipur.
