Nissan to lower price of Micra?

Nissan Motors, the Japanese car manufacturer launched their small car Micra a few months back in India. Though similar in size, Nissan Micra is costlier than competitors Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Indica, Chevrolet Beat and Ford Figo.

Rumors have started doing rounds that in order to better their sales figures, Nissan Motors is contemplating on reducing the price of Micra. In order to make this possible, the manufacturer has already started looking for local vendors for the supply of raw materials and parts which as of now are being imported from abroad.
