Nissan to showcase new SUV at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA)
Japanese automakers Nissan have confirmed that a new SUV will be making its global premiere at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show 2013. This new SUV will be on display at the Nissan stands in Hall 8 on 10th September 2013.
Global version of Rogue is expected to be a successor to the X Trail. Rogue and X Trail are production versions of the Hi-Cross Concept and will ride on a “CMF Chassis” with both front and all wheel drive options with special engines for each region. Europe’s lineup will receive a new generation four cylinder turbo diesel.
Besides the crossover at Frankfurt, Nissan will also showcase their Friend-Me concept, personalized programs for Note and Micra. Friend-me Concept is a look into the future and is designed with possibilities of fully connected and interactive cabins. Friend-me Concept is designed based on the needs of permanently online passengers.
Nissan pins its hopes on becoming the top Asian car brand across Europe by 2016. It has already reached this status in leading markets which include the UK, France, Spain and Italy and is well on its way in capturing other markets as well.
