Nisttarkya electric concept bike made in Mysore by Santhosh heads to 2014 India Bike Week on 17th-18th January. The first Indian electric concept bike feature a unique riding position, special shock absorbers, and headlight. The aerodynamic riding position is a bio-inspired design.
Nisttarkya drives on 36 V, 350w hub motor. It is powered by three numbers of 36 V rechargeable battery. The bike weighs 40 kg and both wheel size 3.00×18″.
Together with the rechargeable battery, Nisttarkya electric concept weighs 40kg. The name itself is drawn from Sanskrit and means unimaginable. Regarding the almost parallel to road riding position comfort may be a concern with its sleek frame, and no cushion seat. Gravel, dirt and unpaved roads may not be the ideal position but we’ll know soon at IBW.
