The Kawasaki Ninja 650R sports bike from two wheeler giants Bajaj Auto seems to have taken two wheeler markets to dizzying heights. Launched just last month in India the sports bike Kawasaki Ninja 650R is sold and serviced by Bajaj Auto in India.
Company dealers have notched up record bookings for Ninja 650R and hence need to take some steps in order to complete the current orders. Bajaj Auto has seen such a demand in sales and bookings that they have temporarily put all further bookings of the bike on hold. They expect to resume bookings after the coming Diwali season by which time they hope to clear all current bookings and deliveries.
Priced at Rs.4.57 lakhs, this bike is seen as rival to Hyosung GT650R among others. Ninja 650 R is imported as CKD’s form Thailand and assembled at the Bajaj Auto plant situated at Chakan in Pune. It is predicted that Garware Hyosung may decrease prices to compete with Bajaj Auto and to increase sales.
