No Red, but Gold and Green Alfa Romeo Disco Volante at Geneva
Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring first presented itself at the 2012 edition of Geneva Motor Show. One more such example is being displayed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show dressed in Green, and accentuated with gold trimmings and wheels.
Returning to the Geneva Motor Show, Alfa Romeo Disco Volante which recently featured in a Top Gear episode with Jeremy Clarkson, is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine delivering 450 PS peak power and 480 Nm of peak torque. The Euro 5 compliant Alfa Disco Volante can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in a matter of 4.2 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 292 kmph.
Alfa Romeo Disco Volante measures 4,620mm in length, 2,032 mm in width and 1,309mm in height while it sits on a wheelbase measuring 2,640mm. Boot volume stands at 142 liters while fuel tank has the capacity to hold upto 88 liters.
Inspired by the original Alfa Romeo Disco Volante of 1952, the new model is lightweight and aerodynamic. It sports classy interiors done up in black, brown and gold with LED lighting, leather upholstery and futuristic dials and switches on its dashboard. Exteriors are striking especially with its green and gold hue with gold body trimmings and accents on wheels by Touring Superleggera.
