The quality section presents innovations such as the service concept for electric vehicles, and showcases the newly-developed VAS 6558A high-voltage test module which won the 2012 Automechanika Innovation Award in the Repair/Diagnostics category. The compact unit features all the functions required to measure voltages in electric vehicles. The “Offboard Diagnostic Information System (ODIS)” which is already in use at service partners worldwide enables an even more efficient diagnostic search. “Cross”, the dealer management system for the German market, is being presented live complete with the latest functions. In the personnel section Volkswagen is introducing the new “Retail Qualification World Championship” which has been expanded to include sales and parts service personnel in addition to the service agents. Volkswagen TV is also present at Automechanika with its latest broadcasting concepts.
