Oshan Kothadiya picks up cup at JK Tyre Volkswagen Polo R Cup 2011

Oshan Kothadiya was victor of the first race of round four at JK Tyre Volkswagen Polo R Cup 2011 held at Sriperumbudur in Chennai.  The young racer from Pune contended with Munjal Savla at the first corner itself when he overtook him and from there on it was a race to the finish.  Oshan Kothadiya completed the race in 00:20:51:892 with Munjal Savla clocking 00:20:53:825 and closely followed by Rahil Noorani at 00:20:59:083.

Oshan said that he was happy with his position and enjoyed the race.  His car did not give any trouble and he was continuously in control.  He also praised the Volkswagen Motorsport team for their support and giving him a superb car.  Oshan is now getting ready for the coming races and needs to concentrate of doing his best with an aim to come closer to Vishnu in the final event.

Munjal too was elated at taking podium position and though he did have a good position Oshan was placed better.  Prithvraj Siddappa, Chief of Motorsports Volkswagen India complimented all the drivers and said that it was really a thrilling race for participants and spectators alike. The weekend was filled with activity with multiple races that saw a number of top Indian racers fight it out.
