RushLane yesterday reported how Auto Expo 2010 was a roaring success with as many as 25 launches and 2 million visitors. But today as the Auto Expo 2010 came to an end, we found out that the participants were major time unhappy with the arrangements at the auto fair.

They said that poor infrastructure left a bitter taste in their mouth when this auto expo could have been the best ever. They complained of inadequate space for visitors as almost all the space was sold and there was hardly any place to walk.

Companies also complained that basic facilities like clean toilets were missing and therefore they were forced to hire mobile toilets for their staff.

CII director-general Chandrajit Banerjee, when asked to comment on the situation said, "We tried our best, but the infrastructure is inadequate to hold a world-class show of this magnitude .'' However, he denied that there was a lack of coordination between the three organisers of the show.
