Paul Walker’s brother asked to finish remaining scenes of Fast & Furious 7

Paul Walker, the Fast & Furious superstar who met with a tragic and untimely end was cremated Thursday ahead of a small ceremony on Saturday. He will be sorely missed and long remembered for his role in Fast & Furious. Universal Studios shut down production immediately following Paul’s death as a sign of support to the bereaved family.

However, in continuing with the shooting of Fast & Furious 7, the movie makers have been thinking of what to do to fill Paul’s part. Daily Mail now reveals that the producers have asked Paul Walker’s younger and look alike brother, Cody to step into his shoes and complete the filming of the remaining scenes.

Cody Walker, 25 is no novice to the movie industry, having previously worked as a movie stuntman. A series of meetings were held post Paul’s demise and it was decided that there would be no one better to complete the movie than Paul’s nearly identical brother Cody.

Cody Walker is yet to accept the offer, and is currently staying with his mother to help her deal with her son’s untimely death. The final details of him playing his brother’s part in the film are still being ironed out, while Universal will be working in alliance with the family to plan a fitting exit for Brian O’Connor, the part played by Paul in Fast & Furious.
